ATM Security Tip

Tuesday October 18, 2005
If you're at an ATM and anything seems wierd (the reader won't read your card, the machine is really slow, etc), I encourage you to press the "Cancel" button and move on to a different ATM. The last thing you want is to lose your card in a malfunctioning ATM -- that's more of a hassle than finding another ATM! What's worse, the ATM could have been compromised by scammers -- sometimes they put additional card readers on the machine to steal your credit card number.
