Do you have so many passwords that you just write them down in a file or spreadsheet? If so, you're taking a big risk. A safe way to protect yourself is to encrypt that information. Lifehacker recently featured TrueCrypt, a really easy way to keep your data top-secret. It's easy enough to use, but really effective. An alert reader noted that you can listen to a podcast on the project from Steve Gibson's Security Now podcast. If you don't have time to listen, Steve gives the project a raving review. By the way, it's a free open-source program.
