Surprising CD Rates

If you've been shopping CD rates lately, you'll see that a lot of them look the same. Longer term CDs are supposed to return more, but these days they really don't. Why would that be? Perhaps nobody has a good grasp on what interest rates will do over the long term. At the very least, banks seem to be suggesting they don't believe rates will be substantially higher 2 or 4 years from now. See what you can learn by watching CD rates.
