Uncle Sam Says "Go Direct"

U.S. Department of the Treasury is hoping that more of us will use direct deposit. According to their Website GoDirect.org:

Direct deposit is the best way to get your Social Security and other federal benefit payments.

There are less problems with money that gets deposited electronically. Furthermore, it's safer. A Treasury spokesperson recently said it takes about 4 minutes to get your federal payments set up for direct deposit -- so just do it. You can rest assured that your payments are more secure, and you don't have to fiddle with paper checks anymore.
