Dude Busted For Running An Illegal Bank...

The headline says it all. From the Consumerist, we learn that a man found legal troubles after running a bank designed for tax evaders -- out of his home. While we may feel just as patriotic if we could pay a little bit less in taxes, tax avoidance schemes can be troublesome. For starters, they're often used by criminals such as terrorists to launder monay. The story was nicely summarized by Consumerism Commentary, who writes:
Today’s lesson: don’t give your money to someone you don’t know who runs a “bank” out of his house. Oh, and you’ll get caught if you try evading taxes.
