ING Direct Business Account

Tuesday June 12, 2007
ING Direct now offers a savings account for businesses. The Orange for Business account is available to the following entities:
  • Sole Proprietorships
  • Partnerships
  • Limited Liability Companies (LLCs)
  • Corporations
  • Not-for-profits
If you've got a business with cash, this is a decent way to get a competitive return on your money. The account is very similar to the Orange savings account, but aimed at businesses. You can allow several different employees (with different login IDs) to have access to the account. They stress that you need to make all deposits and withdrawals electronically -- no physical checks allowed.

This seems to be a pretty good deal for businesses who can't find high-yield savings accounts. However, keep in mind that this is a completely online account. You'll have to do everything yourself -- so it helps to be Web savvy.
