HSBC Customer? Check for Fraud

HSBC has some nice offerings. I like the online bank account and free checking account. However, they've been in the headlines for the past few weeks for a rash of fraud.

It turns out that HSBC card data was stolen somehow, and the thieves have been draining customer accounts. If you use HSBC, now would be a good time to login and check your account. You should also change your PIN just to be safe.

You can see an overview of the problem at The Consumerist. They've been on the case since rumors about a rash of fraud at HSBC started (in fact, they may have been on the case since before then -- thank you Consumerist).
