The Exciting World of ATM Fraud

Saturday June 28, 2008
Citibank recently suffered a security breach related to ATM cards and PINs, and coverage of the story reveals a dramatic world of ATM fraud. Foot chases through the streets of New York, international money laundering, and routine traffic stops yielding big bucks are all part of the story.

Wired has been covering the story, and their most recent installment is pretty interesting. You can read all about exciting breaks in the FBI investigation at Wired.com. They've painted a nice picture of the nuts and bolts of massive ATM fraud. [via Consumerist]
