Dun and Bradstreet: Credit Reports for Business

Wednesday July 23, 2008
Good credit is important. Without it, you may have a hard time borrowing, and it may even affect your employment and insurance rates. You're probably already monitoring your personal credit under the US Government's program offering free credit reports to consumers. But what about your business?

Businesses can have credit histories just like consumers. If you want to borrow (or lend money) in a business situation, Dun and Bradstreet promises to help. Slate's BizBox Blog recently covered the company and the decision to try Dun and Bradstreet. See the author's thoughts on credit reports for business.

Do you use Dun and Bradstreet in your business? Tell us about it in the comments.

I have used D&B before for business however they cut into your over head for crediting spending. I find Experian Business to be helpful and much more vaiuable for my line of credit processing. They usally have a better hit rate on the small to mid size companies.

thanks!
