Mortgage Help From FHA

While large banks are getting help from Uncle Sam, some homeowners feel left out. Indeed, some argue that more mortgage help would help the financial crisis significantly.
On October 1st, the Hope for Homeowners program promised to help make mortgage payments more affordable. Those who got a mortgage before January 1, 2008 may be able to have loan balances reduced.
To qualify for the program, you have to meet certain criteria. Your income must be low relative to your mortgage payment, the home must be your only property, and more. To see details of the program, visit About.com's page on the Hope for Homeowners program.

Everyone keeps talking about how great it is that the government is getting help for those who bought homes wrong. Did you ever consider that every dollar spent with these guys takes away from new home buyers. Let’s quit throwing good money after bad and lend a hand to new young home buyers.
