What Factors Affect Credit?

Credit is important, but what factors affect credit?

In a credit crunch, it gets harder and harder to get a loan. Good credit makes things a little easier. Unfortunately, there are a lot of myths about how credit scores work and what affects credit in general. Having a rich history of borrowing responsibly will affect your credit in a positive way, and having blemishes on your credit reports will hurt you.

Let's review what factors affect credit, and how you can improve your chances of getting a good loan.
