Consumerism Commentary published part 2 of the Visa debit card interview.

In this set of questions, Visa does a good PR job - touting the benefits of using debit cards as opposed to cash or credit. Part 1 of the series is available here.

Like Flexo, I'm not comfortable using my debit card very often. I realize that there are consumer protections and 'zero liability' programs in place, but he sums it up well:

"if your debit card is stolen and used, your bank account can be overdrawn at a moment when you most need your balance to be there, like when your mortgage or rent check is cashed. Then you’re dealing with overdraft fees or bounced check fees and possibly other penalties".
What about you? Do you use your debit card regularly, and why? Tell us about it in the comments.
