It depends what kind of account you have. Consumers enjoy robust protection. As long as you notify the bank quickly, your loss may be limited to $50 under Regulation E.
Businesses take on much more risk. They can lose real money due to fraudulent electronic transfers because they don't get the same protection that consumers do.
Some businesses don't think they should take all the risk. A few have sued their banks after accounts were attacked, claiming that the bank should have prevented any losses.
If you have business bank accounts, be sure to watch them closely. Even if you think security is the bank's responsibility, any problems will end up costing you (through losses, time spent, or legal fees). Remember that you play by different rules as a business, and consumer protections may not apply to all your accounts.
