Fewer Bank Robberies Than Last Year

Last quarter was relatively good.  Bank robberies declined slightly, and that's great news considering the economy.

The Financial Brand reports that there were 10% fewer robberies from April to June of 2010 (when compared to 2009) and only 5% involved violence.  If you really want to avoid robberies, you can also read about what makes banks attractive targets.

You probably don't want to be around during a bank robbery, but they're often very different from what you see in the movies.  As a customer, you might not even know anything happened (in a best-case-scenario that's how it would go).
