Don't get too attached to the perks you get from using your debit card.

You may have already noticed changes to reward programs, and more are sure to come. New rules will soon limit how much banks can earn when you swipe your debit card. Banks are reacting by limiting how much you get back.

Some banks are doing away with debit card reward programs altogether. Others are stripping them down or tweaking them. You can still get rewards, but you may have to hunt for a program that'll fit your spending habits.
