NCUA - National Credit Union Administration

Definition: The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) is a government agency responsible for oversight of credit unions. NCUA runs the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF), which is similar to FDIC insurance coverage for banks.
