no fail safe if error is made
- there is NO way to stop a payment if the amount to be paid is incorrect. It s mostly due to the stupid system where a decimal poit must be entered. People are human and mistakes are made, yet checkfree assumes no liability for their old system. they are out of touch and I will never use them again, to all of you perfect people who never have made a mistake yet well good for you, it s just a matter of time and you too will see what havoc this incompetent service can do on your life.

One Stop Bill-Pay
- I love the service. I wish that I could pay all of my bills this way. Like anything else, pay attention to what you are doing and double check what you are authorizing the MCF computer to do. If you omit a decimal point $100.00 becomes $10,000 and like any bill you should check on the balance frequently and print copies of all payments and transaction confirmation numbers. My only complaint is the loss to Mycheckfree of some of the vendors who want to save a buck and force you to use their website for online payment.

Beware
- Why do they want my social security number to pay my bill? No way am I giving them that information.

Works great for me
- I have used them for about eight or nine years, maybe more.I've never had the first problem.Ican use ANY broswer and yes Mozilla's family of broswers work just fine. You can choose the amount you want to pay and the date you want to pay it.The only thing you must remember is to click on the red my check free logo to finalize the transaction.I couldn't be happier, they do exactly what they promise

MY Check Free
- Do not use them. Had problems with them. Had bills, they never notified me they were there. Said my email address they came back, They never checked it or tried again. Had two bills go delinquent and when I called them they did not care nor would them try to help me. No explanation as to why my email address came back after having the same email address for 10 years. Very bad company. DO NOT USE THEM.

Secure easy
- I've been using mycheckfree.com for years for selected bill pay, without any problems. Some businesses have withdrawn from using this service, but I love it.

Wonderful experience
- I have used mycheckfree for at least 4 or 5 years. Not one problem! I don't understand the above complaints. Every bill I schedule has been paid on time without a single problem.

Not Good for Business
- Tried to set up checkfree acct to pay our companies bills. It will not work. It will not accept company names. It demands SS numbers. A business does not have a Social security number. They will not accept Mozilla browser. Cannot chat with them and they have no listed phone number. Worthless aggravation for a business. Do not try to use.

- Have been using mycheckfree for 3 years - it has been invaluable. I find these horror stories difficult to believe.

how the hell do you cancel!!!!!!
- I can't find anyplace to cancel my account or a way to contact them. This should be against the law. Has anyone had MCF and then successfully canceled the accout? Any help would be appreciated.

Beware!
- My experience falls in the "horrible" camp. This company never submitted my payment, then claimed my check was returned. $22 plus misc. fees later, I'm still sorting out the mess. My credit union told me they had no record of anything even remotely related to mycheckfree.com attached to my account. Waiting for the inevitable class action lawsuit...

WATCH OUT SCAM ALERT
- MyCheckFree paid $10,000 to my Gap card, which had a $200.00 balance. Luckily, my bank would NOT allow a 10K withdrawl. When I saw that they attempted to withdraw this much, I tried to contact them, but no phone number on website, just an email inquiry. I emailed with my dilemma and they never answered. Now I have a HUGE credit to GAP card, and MyCheck Free is claiming I owe THEM $10,000. CRAZY!!! I don't even WANT to know what this is doing to my credit rating.

Satisfied
- I haven't had any problems it works for me. If I want to make a payment early I'll change the date. You have to read. I'm happy!!

scam, tries to get every cent out of you
- it has automatic payment for my Macy's account, which is described to pay the "amount due", which I assume is the "full amount due", but in fact, it is only the "minimum amount due", so Macy's has been charging me interests all along, and I didn't even notice! There is definitely something fishy going on. Macy's is probably paying mycheckfree a portion of the interest it earned that way. If you think carefully, 1-2$ a month for 20% of Macy's account holders will turn out to be a lot!
