In a recent Savage Money Podcast, Terry Savage laments on a visit to the grocery store. She was in the express lane behind somebody who wrote a check, and her lane became the slow lane. Her story is entertaining, and she uses it to demonstrate that there's often a better way to pay -- for a variety of reasons.
