IRS Stimulus Payment? Use Direct Deposit

Direct deposit is always fast. Now the IRS says you'll get your stimulus payment faster if you use direct deposit.

Under the Economic Stimulus Act some taxpayers are eligible to receive a healthy tax rebate. For details on the rebate visit our special section dedicated to the 2008 Tax Rebates. The IRS will send checks out between May and July, depending on your Social Security Number. However, you can speed up the process if you provide direct deposit information on your 2007 tax return.

If you want your rebate money faster, use direct deposit.
