Maxed Out - The Movie

Saturday May 24, 2008
Maxed Out is a revealing documentary about the perils of using debt, and the forces behind our desire. About.com's Credit & Debt Management expert alerts us that Maxed Out is showing on Showtime through June 11th. LaToya Irby writes:
I've heard tales of movies shown in health classes to scare teens away from sex. Well, Maxed Out is the financial industry's equivalent.
Of course, using debt is a necessity in many cases. How many people can pay cash for their first home? What about an investment in education? Using debt opens a few doors, but abusing it (or a run of bad luck) will put you out on the street.

If you don't have Showtime, you can also rent or buy the movie. See LaToya Irby's review of Maxed Out.
