ING Direct Improves Electric Orange Bill Pay

ING Direct's Electric Orange account has been upgraded to make it easier to pay bills.

Electric Orange was one of the first major online accounts offering interest on your checking account balance along with free online bill pay. Now, they're trying to make it easier to use the account with a more user-friendly interface.

A unique feature of Electric Orange is the Person2Person payment. You can send funds directly to another person's bank account. The only hitch is that you'll need to know details about their account. While this may work between people who trust each other, it's not practical for other payments (like when you purchase something online, for example).

NetBanker provides some nice screenshots showing the improvements.
