Easy and Safe Passwords

If you bank online, you're no stranger to passwords.  You may even need to remember multiple codes to access a single account.

What's the best way to keep your accounts safe?  Use strong passwords, don't share them with anybody, and use secure computers when banking online.  Strong passwords are great, but they're hard to remember.  And once you remember a good one, it's tempting to use it on multiple accounts (but then you're sharing it with somebody, and if it's ever compromised all of your accounts are in danger).

Baekdel.com offers ideas on passwords that are safe and easy to remember -- even safer than typical "strong" passwords.  The suggested approach:  multiple word passwords such as "this is fun."  For an explanation with examples, see The Usability of Passwords.
