Calculate Mortgage Payments and Interest Costs

After filling in information related to your loan, click the Calculate button. A table will appear in the textbox below the mortgage calculator input area.
You may want to plug the mortgage calculator's output into Excel so that you can work on a budget. To do so, copy everything and paste it into a spreadsheet. Then, use Data --> Text to Columns to split the numbers into different columns.
Note that the mortgage calculator is best for fixed rate mortgages. If you want to analyze an adjustable rate mortgage, you'll have to enter each possible scenario individually.
